Samir Shah, the chairman of the British broadcaster BBC, has apologized for the way a speech by Donald Trump was edited. Parts of the speech were rather suggestively stitched together in a ‘Panorama’ documentary. This gave the impression that the American president literally called for the storming of the Capitol. Trump is now also threatening legal action.
