Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen has hired the wing striker Farid Alfa-Ruprecht. The 19-year-old German junior international comes from the U21 of the English first division club Manchester City. His contract in Leverkusen is dated until June 30, 2030. According to reports, the transfer fee for the Youngster is said to amount to around 1.3 million euros, and the Skyblues also secured a 40 percent resale.

“Farid Alfa-Ruprecht caused a sensation in the English U21 league. A strong goal quota, enormous speed and great football talent make him a highly interesting candidate for our license team,” said Bayer 04 managing director Sport Simon Rolfes. Leverkusen’s director Football Kim Falkenberg said: “In Farid we see the clear potential of becoming an important player for Bayer 04 in perspective.”

“Leverkusen is a top club with great radiance. I will repay the trust placed in me and do anything to be able to appear in the Bayer jersey,” said the 1.81 meter tall Alfa-Ruprecht about his transfer.
