Florian Lipowitz not only inspires German cycling fans. He also receives prominent support from other athletes.
Lipowitz not only receives support from his family and girlfriend Antonia Weeger – which is also successful on the bike – but also from other German athletes. On Saturday, Lipowitz defended his placement again and then wrote on Instagram: “Thanks to all the fans, friends, my family and my Antonia for the support today. It felt unreal.” Lipowitz also emphasized in the ARD: “I would never have expected to be able to ride the podium at all.”
With a view to the last stage and the possible jubilation in Paris, he confirmed: “A dream will come true. We will do everything we can to that it stays that way. I am confident.”
