The Skyliners Frankfurt and Rasta Vechta have a not exactly high-class, but at least exciting exchange of blows. The Hessians have to wait for their first home win.
The Skyliners Frankfurt are still waiting for their first home win of the season. The team of head coach Klaus Perwas had to admit defeat against Rasta Vechta on Monday evening 89:93 (44:49). In a weak Bundesliga game, the home team scored unusually poorly from beyond the three-point line (30 percent) and once again lost far too many balls (21).
Significantly: 14 seconds before the end, the Skyliners had the chance to equalize. But Isaiah Swope dribbled the ball onto his own calf. From there the ball bounced out of bounds. Hessen’s best thrower was center Jaedon LeDee (21 points). Winger Will Christmas had 20 points.
We continue against the MBC
With two wins and as many defeats, the Skyliners are in the Table now in eighth place. On October 26th, the Hessians will welcome the Central German BC in the Frankfurt ball sports hall.
