It was a difficult decision for the korfball couple. “In the end, we followed our feelings. We can live there together and play korfball with our friends. That, in combination with the challenge of the promotion battle, was the deciding factor.” Lipke played two seasons for KZ and will return to his old club, while Boerhout will play korfball for the first time at another club.
“We are very sorry that Nikki and Matté will no longer be part of our selection next season, but we wish them good luck in Harderwijk,” said KZ’s top sports committee. This season, the Kogers did not make the play-offs for the championship.
