Basement Brooklyn hosts a fashion show in the Swiss Alps in August.
In doing so, the young New York label is not following the trend of big fashion houses that show their cruise and pre-collections in new places time and again, but is committed to its roots. Designer Noah Grin, 22, is returning to his native Switzerland after moving to the US, Basement Brooklyn announced. There he will show a collection that combines his childhood memories of the Swiss Alps with the vibrant culture of New York City.
After the brand already held a preview event in New York at the end of June, the entire “Les Fontaines” collection will be presented on August 5 on a 2000 meter high dam overlooking the Swiss Alps.
