Baseball talents Kemp and Maduro sign at MLB clubs
9.40 pm: Baseball talents Tyrriq Kemp and Kendrey Maduro have signed professional contracts with clubs from the American Major League (MLB). The 22-year-old Kemp was recorded by Kansas City Royals. Maduro, one year younger, signed with Los Angeles Angels.
The Kemp born in Rotterdam played Baseball for Baylor University in Texas in recent years. The short stop is the younger brother of Dwayne Kemp, who in the past was a professional in the organization of Chicago Cubs for two years. The youth international Maduro, born in Aruba, came out for the University of Central Florida this year.
Real Madrid midfielder Bellingham undergoes shoulder operation

Volleyball players lose in Nations League of Ukraine

Van de Zandschulp after winning on Ymer in second round Bastad
15.01 hours: Botic van de Zandschulp has reached the second round of the Bastad ATP tournament. The 29-year-old tennis player won the party in two days in two sets of Swede Mikael Ymer, three years younger: 6-4 6-1. Van de Zandschulp plays in Sweden against the winner of the match between the Chileen Cristian Garin and the Argentinian Camilo Ugo Carabelli.
The game between Van de Zandschulp and Ymer was demolished on Tuesday due to the rain at a score of 5-4 15-0 in favor of the Dutchman. UEFA director wants more matches of women in large stadiums
13.37 hours: Nadine Kessler, director of women’s football at UEFA, wants more matches of women’s teams to be played in large stadiums. She says that in response to the visitor record at the European Championship in Switzerland.
“People fight for tickets and try to enter the stadium in one way or another. We have to set the bar higher every time, give the good example with larger stadiums and fill them again,” said Kessler.
UEFA had more than 460,000 spectators in the 24 group matches played and there were not many before at a European Championship. There was a sold -out stadium in 22 duels. The average number of spectators in the competitions was 19,233. The biggest turnout were the 34,165 spectators in Basel at the competition between Germany and Denmark.
Kessler says that 47 percent of visitors to this European Championship are women. At the European Championship for men from last year, only 16 percent of those present were women.
Griekspoor, Van de Zandschulp and Lamens in main tournament US Open

12.50 pm: Steffi Jones is the first woman to join the Supervisory Board of Schalke 04. The 52-year-old former national coach of the German football players is the successor to Youri Mulder, whose place was released after he started as director of football affairs of the club.
“Schalke is a special club that stands for solidarity and passion. I live here, I know the people and I know how important the club is for the region,” said Jones, who was praised by chairman of the Supervisory Board Axel Hefer as a ‘personality’ with ‘competence and soberness’.
Arantxa Rus and Eva Vedder eliminated on gravel van Hamburg
12.20 pm: Arantxa Rus and Eva Vedder are both eliminated on the gravel of Hamburg. In the second round of the MSc Hamburg Ladies, Rus opened in two sets against the Spanish Leyre Romero Gormaz: 2-6 2-6. Vedder lost in the first round of the first-placed Russian Jekaterina Aleksandrova, also in two sets: 0-6 3-6.
Rus, the number 119 of the world ranking, had convincingly won in the first round against Sada Nahimana from Burundi. She had little to say against Romero Gormaz at the WTA tournament in northern Germany. Vedder, the global number 134, reached the main tournament via the qualifications. She had no chance against the number 16 in the world ranking.
