The baseball-players of Amsterdam Pirates have tied the score against HCAW in the play-offs. The teams of coach Mervin Gario won 4-2 against the Bussum team in Amsterdam.
This makes the score in the best-of-five series 1-1. Amsterdam took the lead in the first inning. Another run was scored in the fourth inning. In the fifth inning, HCAW came alongside by getting two men over home plate, but the team from Amsterdam came out on top by scoring in the sixth and seven innings.

At HCAW, Kaj Timmersmans was on the mound the entire game. At Amsterdam, Nelmerson pitched Angela and Sven van de Sanden. The third game is scheduled for tomorrow in Bussum.
In the other playoffs, Neptunus won 3-1 against Twins Oosterhout. As a result, the team from Rotterdam is 2-0 ahead in the series.
