The Barça team thrashed Liceo in a more even match and became champion, winning the first three games of the final
Pau Bargalló with a ‘hat trick’ was the best of the match
Barça is the new champion of the OK League. He got it on the fast track after winning the first three games at the Liceo, the last one 6-3. The azulgranas lift the title after an impeccable League where they have not lost a single game and have only drawn twice. In this way, the team claims its supremacy once again in Spanish hockey.
The match started at a high pace and Barça was somewhat disorderly, which Liceo took advantage of to take the lead on the scoreboard in minute 3. They had achieved their first objective, which was to get ahead on the scoreboard early, something they had not achieved in both games before the final.
But little by little the azulgranas started to get into tune. Without nerves, with patience, and that was how they managed to tie the game just four minutes later thanks to a goal by Joao Rodrigues taking advantage of a real gift from Pau Bargalló, giving him the ball from behind the goal.
Barça traces back 1-0
But there was a world ahead and a lot of work to do. Barça paused the game so as not to deviate from the game plan planned by Edu Castro and in minute 15 with a real cannon shot Pau Bargalló put his team ahead certifying his scoring voracity since in all the playoff games he has seen the goal.
But the blaugrana joy alone lasted a minute when again Bruno di Benedetto surpassed Sergi Fernández after a good assist from Manrubia. The tables returned on the scoreboard and the duel began to become tense on the track.
With the 2-2 and after two good interventions by Sergi Fernández and Martí Serra in both goals, the halftime was reached.
The Liceo again ahead after the break
In the second half, the Liceo took to the track for allforced by circumstances. Only victory was worth Juan Corpa’s team so they searched again and again for a way to overcome the laborious Barca defense. And again the dangerous Nruno di benedetto found the way to the goal to put the local team ahead again to the joy of a somewhat cold stand up to that moment.

Hélder Nunes played his last game as a Barça player

Barça could have tied again a few seconds later after the penalty that Helder Nunes launched but that Serra destroyed with a double save. Despite the fact that the Catalans were behind on the scoreboard, they did not show that electric game to which they have accustomed us.
With Barça’s tenth foul, Alex Rodríguez looked for a direct shot but Sergi Fernández, very attentive, stopped the shot preventing the high school students from escaping on the scoreboard.
Start again
The Liceo’s tenth foul came immediately and this time Pau Bargalló with a masterful execution with a soft final touch over the goalkeeper defined, beating Martí Serra. What quality has this player!

There were 12 minutes left for the title to become a reality and the Barça team continued with this hockey, more of a blackboard, of possession, to avoid the dangerous counterattacks from the Liceo, but Juan Corpa seemed to have given the same instructions to his team, so the game became a kind of chess game where decisive passes were sought but without risking more than necessary.
Despite how much was at stake, the game was cold. Baça showed patience, speeding up their possessions and it was with five minutes to go when Pau Bargalló again raised the score to 3-4.
From then on, Barça dedicated themselves to managing the advantage as best as possible, avoiding any mistake that could become a chance for the Liceo to score. The Liceo risked playing without a goalkeeper and Joao Rodrigues closed the win with the fifth, taking advantage of the empty goal after a controversial move due to a possible previous foul.
tangana at the end
But the goal went up on the scoreboard and Barça had the title in their pocket. After the protests, the Liceo was left with three players and taking advantage of the numerical inferiority Marc Garo raised the sixth on the scoreboard with seven seconds to go. Unfortunately, the nerves were blown up and there was a brawl between the players, which came to blows. Too much tension accumulated.
The brawl ended with a red card for Manrubia, Sergi Fernández and Pau Bargalló. It’s a shame that a final puts an end to this image, but finally the blaugranas were able to celebrate the title.
