Damm’s defeat against Sabadell keeps Óscar López’s team as leaders
Barcelona lost its second game of the season, but remains leader due to Damm’s defeat against Sabadell. Óscar López’s team, with many casualties, had to multiply to emerge victorious, but in front of them they had a very competitive Cornellà always against the Barcelona fans.
In the first half, Dani Pérez’s green team were very well positioned on the field and little by little they gained confidence to attack and the first chances came. In the 25th minute, Benet made Yako shine, who prevented the goal, but he could not do anything when after half an hour the forward himself opened the scoring, a result that led to the intermission..
In the second half, Alejandro was able to score the second goal with a deflected shot, and the Barça reply was the tying goal scored by Cristo.
