The path is theoretically clear for another cracking transfer from FC Bayern. As the Spanish sports newspaper “Marca” reported on Wednesday, FC Barcelona has now decided against signing English offensive star Marcus Rashford. The German record champions have been increasingly associated with the 28-year-old in recent days.
According to “Marca”, the Catalans will not use the purchase option for 30 million euros anchored in the loan agreement with Manchester United. Barca are deep in the red after signing Anthony Gordon in the transfer summer so far. The Spanish champions’ focus, it is said, is currently on strengthening other parts of the team.
