Francis Bagnaia enter the world of cinema. Almost. Ducati’s MotoGP world champion will play a special cameo as “Pecco” in the Italian version of the film Disney and Pixar Elementals. The link between Francesco Bagnaia and his character is twofold: in the film, “Pecco” is an element of Aria that recalls the pilot’s nickname “Nuvola Rossa” and the character was thus named for the Italian version to pay homage to the champion of motorcycling. Elementalswhich will arrive in Italian cinemas on June 21, is a new original feature film set in Element City where the elements – Fire, Water, Earth and Air – live together.
The story introduces Ember, a tenacious, sharp, and “ardent” young woman, whose friendship with a funny, cheesy, “going with the flow” boy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. In the Italian version of the film, Valentina Romani also lends her voice as Ember, a brilliant girl from Fuoco in her twenties with a great sense of humor who loves her family but who sometimes gets easily caught up in flames; Stefano De Martino as Wade, an attentive and empathetic 20-year-old from Acqua who isn’t afraid to show his emotions, which are hard to miss; Serra Yilmaz as Ember’s mom Cinder; and Hal Yamanouchi as Ember’s soon-to-retire father, Bernie.
