Badges stolen from uniforms – fire department catches thief

Ratchet, ratchet, ratchet – and the thief was caught!

A firefighter from the Charlottenburg-Nord station caught a coat of arms thief (34). He is said to have stolen the so-called guard patches (each has its own) with Velcro from the operational clothing and sold it.

The badges repeatedly disappeared from the bases in Tegel, Ranke, Wittenau, Tiergarten and Charlottenburg – and are said to have reappeared on sales platforms on the Internet for 20 euros.

But recently a firefighter in Charlottenburg heard suspicious rattling noises in the car shed – and was able to provide a driver for a change of clothes!
