Ayyoub flees from Ukraine and eventually arrives in the Netherlands via Hungary, Germany and France. At the Coa desk he says that he has only one goal: “I want to go somewhere where I can handball. That is the only thing I care about.”
He soon comes into contact with Aalsmeer from his temporary hometown of Hilversum. The reigning national champion Handball gives him the opportunity to train with the first team and he is now a valued force in the team of trainer Wai Wong.
