Authentic Brands Group acquires Hunter

Authentic Brands Group (ABG) secures the next brand for its portfolio. The US fashion and media group is taking over the British brand Hunter, the parent company of fashion companies such as Ted Baker and Boardriders announced on Friday.

The acquisition will make Batra Group the main licensee of Hunter products in the UK and continental Europe. The UK company will be responsible for the design and development of footwear, apparel and accessories, as well as the operation of the branded stores, wholesale and e-commerce in these territories. Also partnered with Marc Fisher Footwear for US business that includes design, wholesale and e-commerce for footwear.
