Trailerfest in Breda is perhaps the chaotic festival in the Netherlands. The party on ‘t Zoet is known for its self -mockery and absurd marketing. For example, a festival ticket is jokingly called ‘Tickut’. But thanks to Festivalaltantes aunt plant and aunt creatpie, a lot of cuddling and crackiness is done.

On the Mark on the former CSM site, the site is full of old Gare Caravans on Saturday. It looks very messy, but that is the intention.

The trailer test once started as a joke. A group of friends liked the camping area of a festival more fun than the main stage and decided that camping feeling itself makes the festival. “We first have one pilot Organized in Zundert for Friends of Friends, “say the organizers Aunt Plant and Aunt Scheppie.” That was such a success that we decided to organize a real festival. Now we are at the festival with a very big club of family and friends. “

“If you do normally, you can stay seated.”

The two aunts are twins: Caroline (Aunt Creation) and Jacqueline (Aunt Plant) van der Jagt. They are sixty springs young and take care of all young festival visitors. Those who want to rest, need a chat or looked a little too deep into the glass can go to the caravans of the two aunts. They have their own family camp on the site. “All nephews and nieces, friends and girlfriends and our children stand here with a caravan,” they explain. Everyone is welcome. “If you normally do, you can stay seated and if not, we will kick you out.”

Aunt Creation pulls some cupboards open in her caravan. “Look, here are bananas, grapes and cookies. They are for anyone who needs it at the end of the evening.” In the meantime, one of the festival -goers is relaxing on the bed. “Sometimes I don’t want to know what’s happening here,” winks Aunt Creation.

Everywhere where plant and creation go, they are greeted and hand out hugs. A family member says that “this is one of the most beautiful days of the year.” The chaos appeals to her the most and it is also visible and audible. There are at least eight different places where music is made and everywhere is danced by festival -goers.

The funniest Aunt Plant thinks they never said that visitors had to come to the festival dressed up. “People just do it. They like it and don’t want to be the best for a day. They are sorry and do a bit ordinary. Everyone can know that for themselves and that makes it so much fun here.
