Buytenplaets Meerzigt is not unknown territory for foodies from Zoetermeer. Hundreds of enthusiasts come here every year for the Culinary Festival. From this summer, a grand dinner party will be added. Mark 17 and 18 June in your calendar, because then the very first Food Festival Zoetermeer will take place.

The new festival is a collaboration between Hofstede Meerzigt and Brasserie 1640. The two restaurants are joining forces to provide a weekend full of culinary dishes, wines and tropical cocktails.
Twelve courses
What to expect? For starters: nice music. Even more important: an area full of food stalls. For a fixed price you can try a total of twelve dishes. The menu includes a dish with tuna, ham from the spit, confit duck leg and fries with beef stew. So no festival for vegetarians.

This is how you buy tickets
Is your mouth watering already? A ticket costs 75 euros for adults and 35 euros for children up to the age of twelve. This includes the twelve courses and a glass of cava. Furthermore, drinks are for your own account. You buy here your ticket for the first Food Festival Zoetermeer.
