Germany’s tennis star Alexander Zverev defeated his fear opponent Francisco Cerúndolo for the first time and reached the quarter-finals at the ATP Masters in Toronto.

The Argentinian, against whom he had lost all three previous games on sand, gave up for the Hamburger at 6: 4 and 1: 0. Zverev celebrated its 501st success on the ATP tour. In the round of the last eight, he meets Alexei Popyrin from Australia.
