The German 4×100-meter relay around Gina Lückenkemper fought for a medal at the World Athletics World Cup-bronze for the DLV quartet.

Olympic bronze 2024, EM gold and World Cup bronze 2022-and now another medal for the German Quartet! Sina Mayer, Rebekka Haase, 200-meter specialist Sophia Junk and Lückenkemper with a very strong appearance sprinted in the final over 4×100 meters in 41.87 seconds behind the victorious USA (41.75) and Jamaica (41.79).

Lückenkemper, the fastest flying sprinter in the world, drummed the rain wet Railway 9.85 seconds as the final runner and made German success perfect.

Lyles and the USA win, German men fifth

The USA also triumphed for men, superstar Noah Lyles confidently won the winner in 37.29 seconds-the second gold in Tokyo for the 200-meter world champion. Silver went to Canada (37.55), bronze to the Netherlands, which sprinted national records in 37.81 seconds.
