At least 3 dead and 3 injured in shooting in US shopping center
A shooting at a shopping center in Greenwood has left three people dead and three injured. The shooter is also among the dead. According to a statement by the mayor of Greenwood on Facebook, he was shot and killed by an armed passer-by in the mall after he opened fire.
According to the police, a team from the explosive ordnance disposal service is present at the mall after an abandoned backpack was found in one of the toilets, local broadcaster WRTV reported. Greenwood is located in the US state of Indiana. It is not yet clear what the shooter’s motive was.
