PoliticsBy denying asylum to single men, CD&V is targeting the symbolic group of the asylum crisis. Left-wing Vivaldi parties see it as an electoral strategy and may put counterproposals on the table, such as a mandatory dispersal plan. Some 80 municipalities, including the places of residence of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open Vld) and Deputy Prime Minister Petra De Sutter (Groen), do not offer any reception places. Will that change soon?
