Valentijn Driessen, today’s football expert Inside, is in itself impressed by Astrid Holleeder and her life story. He does find it very bossy on RTL 4. “Very dominant.”
Dutch television is suddenly a prominent TV personality richer: Astrid Holleeder. The sister of top criminal Willem Holleeder showed her face on national television for the first time last week, and now she hangs the female John van den Heuvel in the new late talk show of RTL 4, namely RTL Tonight.
Dominant Astrid
Valentijn Driessen watched the long interview with Astrid on Sunday evening at the desk of RTL Tonight and has mixed feelings. He liked her when she showed herself vulnerable, but not when she became something more dominant.
He says in Vi: “I thought Astrid Holleeder had a very good story in the beginning. She looked a bit vulnerable at the time, but once a little longer in that broadcast, then I found them quite dominant. And she became more and more dominant.”
Whip
Johan Derksen finds it a striking statement. “Do you have something against dominant women?”
Valentijn: “Well, in this case.”
Johan: “She didn’t have a whip with her?”
Valentijn: “No, but that can still come.”
Johan doesn’t have much against Astrid. “I thought she was doing well. She had a credible story.”
Good story
It is unprecedented that Astrid had to go into hiding for so long, says Johan. “Of course it was poignant again that she had to spend ten years without surveillance. She has ensured that the Holleeder is under lock and Grendel and as a thank you she must be locked up in a safe house and she is not allowed to go outside.”
Valentijn: “No, no, it’s also very brave.”
Wilfred Genee concludes: “It is right the other extreme, isn’t it? You first sit in a safe house and can’t go anywhere and now you sit everywhere.”
