Aston Villa have unveiled their first signing of the winter, Alysson from Gremio. According to media reports, the English team is paying a transfer fee of 10 million euros for the 19-year-old offensive player, which can rise to 12 million euros with bonus payments. The club did not provide any information about the length of the contract term.

Alysson made the jump to the professionals of the traditional Brazilian club in 2024 and has since played 41 games in which he was involved in three goals. Last season, the right winger became a regular and increased his market value from 1 million to 8 million euros since the summer. In the calendar year 2025, it increased its market value 32 times. He is only the third Villa signing this season for whom a transfer fee was paid. Previously, Evann Guessand came from OGC Nice for 30 million euros and Marco Bizot from Stade Brest for 500,000 euros.
