On October 12, 2018, 37-year-old firefighter Pieter Platteeuw brought his wife Dana Van Laeken (36) to the emergency department of AZ Groninge in Kortrijk. After a restaurant visit she had been feeling bad for several weeks, but now she suddenly deteriorated very quickly. Things just go from bad to worse in the hospital. No matter what doctors try, nothing helps. Dana dies after a painful agony and her death goes down in the books as a natural death. But something is gnawing at the hospital staff.
