Christian Eriksen is recovering from Sunday night’s daze.
– I have spoken with Christian this morning. He’s fine, national team doctor Morten Boesen says the Danish Football Association in the X-account bulletin.
Eriksen held his chest in the middle of the match and fell to the grass. He was rushed to the hospital.
– He is with his family and in a good mood, Boesen said.
– The expectation is that he will return home soon.
Eriksen experienced a similar situation in the EC final tournament almost exactly five years ago. His heart stopped in the middle of the match against Finland.
Eriksen’s life was saved. He has continued his career at the top level supported by a pacemaker implanted in his chest.
