The European Championship cycling is getting closer and that is also noticeable in Assen. In preparation for the cycling event, which will take place throughout Drenthe from 20 to 24 September, bicycle artworks will be placed on thirty roundabouts in the capital of Drenthe. The art was made by people from iWerk, part of Werkplein Drentsche Aa, from discarded bicycles. The first work was unveiled on Tuesday morning by alderman for sports Albert Smit on the roundabout on WA Scholtenstraat.
