Mia (68) was only diagnosed with ADHD after 60 years: ‘It was always a fair in my head’

All her life she thought she was lazy, or maybe just plain stupid. As a child, Mia Lijffijt (68) was not a bouncy ball either, but she was shy and anxious. But in her head, it was always a fair there, she says. Now she knows why: she has ADHD. “I look at myself more gently, I wish I could have done that years earlier.”
