Art Rooijakkers from Geldrop returns on TV in November. For SBS6 he will present the program Het Zwaard van Damocles, a psychological reality show with famous Dutch people. A Talpa spokesperson confirms this after reporting from the AD.
The program is the first for Rooijakkers since he stopped in August with current affairs program News of the Day. He started that in January, but concluded this summer that “the desk of news of the day is not my place.” Shortly before, colleague Malou Petter also stopped with that program. The pair has been replaced by Tilburger Thomas van Groningen.
The sword of Damocles will be shown every week. In the game it’s all about tactics and trust and participants have to eliminate each other. Participants have a chance to win the prize pool of half a million euros. The program is produced by Talpa Studios. The exact start date will be announced at a later time.
