In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, two cars were completely burned out on the Gageldonk in Den Bosch. The cars are probably set on fire.
The fire brigade received a report of the fire at a quarter to two. The cars were parked in a parking lot on Gageldonk, behind the houses on Zuidewijn.
Local residents saw two men set fire to one of the cars, after which the fire spread to the second car. The fire brigade quickly brought the fire under control, but could not prevent the loss of both cars. A third car, parked a few meters away, suffered significant damage due to the heat.
The police are investigating the fire and cordoned off the area immediately after the incident. A burning jerry can was found a few meters away.
According to the police, the car in which the fire started did not belong in the neighborhood, as it is registered in Zaltbommel.
