Arsenal maintain lead over Man City: Trossarf with assists hat-trick in first half

Arsenal FC have maintained their five-point lead at the top of the English Premier League. The Londoners easily beat their city rivals FC Fulham 3-0 (3-0) on Sunday and are five points ahead of pursuers Manchester City. The champions had won 1-0 at Crystal Palace on Saturday. In third place is Manchester United, who were held to a 0-0 draw by Southampton a week after beating Liverpool 7-0.

Arsenal put in a commanding performance from the start at Fulham with former Gunners pro Bernd Leno. Defender Gabriel (21′), Gabriel Martinelli (26′) and Norway’s Martin Ödegaard (45’+2′) scored the goals for the guests, all assists came from Leandro Trossard.
