Arrested rival of Erdogan elected presidential candidate: millions of Turks express support through solidarity gymnastics

Ekrem Imamoglu, the arrested mayor of the Turkish city of Istanbul, has been chosen as a candidate from the Center -left party CHP in the Turkish presidential elections of 2028. In the Symbolic Primos – Imamoglu was the only candidate – 1.6 of the 1.7 million party members. This is reported by the town hall of the largest city in Turkey.
