The Mossos d’Esquadra They arrested, on October 5, a 42-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of four robberies with violence in the population of Granollers: in a Supermarket and three robberies in one fuel station.
The events date back to April 18 when a man reported that he had suffered a violent robbery in his supermarket. The victim was attacked with a pepper spray, threatened with a White weapon and they stole about 500 euros from the box. The images Captured by the establishment’s video surveillance system, they allowed investigators to have a description of the alleged aggressor and recorded the degree of violence that the perpetrator used.
The Investigation Unit of the Granollers police station attributes to the detainee the alleged responsibility of two other robberies at the same gas station committed on September 10 and 20. Thanks to the victims’ complaintsbased on the images of the events and the efforts made, the investigators identified the alleged perpetrator of the three robberies, a 42-year-old man, who used the same modus operandi in all three events.
Given the signs that a fourth robbery was taking place, on October 5, members of the Investigation Unit of the Granollers police station, together with public security agents, began a research device. During surveillance, the agents received notice that a robbery had occurred at the same gas station in which a man had threatened the workers with a firearm and had fled with a motorcycle.

The agents quickly began the search and intercepted him at Foment Street in Granollers, at which time he was arrested for a robbery with violence and intimidation.
The agents found inside the seat of the motorcycle the firearm, which turned out to be simulated, several hubcaps, cash and some gloves. On October 8, he was brought before the Investigative Court in Granollers.
