The Frankfurt Music Festival will take place from June 5th to 7th, 2026 in Deutsche Bank Park. “BABO IS COMING HOME! We actually wanted to wait a little longer, but Baba Haft couldn’t keep you waiting any longer. Arrest warrant back in 069, back on the WCD! See you in the mosh pit!” – with these words the organizers of the music festival announced their first headliner.
This is the fourth time the Offenbach rapper has appeared in the “biggest club in the world”. Arrest Warrant himself said of the announcement: “I’m extremely happy, Frankfurt.” And further: “See you next year.”
Mixed reactions
Reactions to the headliner announcement were mixed after the documentary. Many fans were excited about the chance to see one of the most famous German rappers live at the festival again next year. However, there were also critical voices. “Bro, better get some therapy,” one user wrote on Instagram. Another commented: “Withdrawal. Therapy. Appreciating family. Those should be his plans. Then the demons in his head will disappear.” And: “What could go wrong?”
The Netflix documentary “Babo – The Arrest Warrant Story”, which has been showing since October 28th, tells the rapper’s personal story and addresses his drug addiction, suicidal thoughts and childhood traumas. Many fans are therefore concerned about his health.
Club show in Regensburg at the end of November
Despite these challenges, arrest warrant seems to have found a taste for live performances again. The Regensburg nightclub Velvet Room announced a show by the rapper for November 21st.
According to an Instagram post from the operator, arrest warrant is coming to the Velvet Room Regensburg for “an exclusive club show” – with support from Gleis, Frizzo and Flash B. “The online tickets are completely sold out – but there will still be tickets available at the box office,” it said in the message.
