The second division relegated Arminia Bielefeld has managed to break free after its false start in the third division.
The East Westphalia team won 2-1 (1-0) at the previously unbeaten SpVgg Unterhaching thanks to a late goal from Leandro Putaro. With their second win of the season, the former Bundesliga club improved to ninth place.
Kaito Mizuta had given Bielefeld the lead (28′), but Manuel Stiefler equalized in the second half (67′). Then Putaro made the decision (89th).
