Ariana Grande recently announced that she has completed her seventh studio album. Now she announces that the record’s first single, “Yes, And?”, will be released on Friday, January 12th. This is her first own release since her 2020 record POSITIONS.
New music between “Wicked” and management change
In the past three years things have become quite quiet for the singer musically, but she has had a lot on her mind. She has been working on Universal’s “Wicked” film for some time and separated from her manager Scooter Braun after many years. She is now represented by Brandon Crew, who also looks after Demi Lovato, Charli XCX and Mark Ronson, among others.
Since she’s been working on her new, as-yet-unnamed record, she’s repeatedly offered her social media followers insights into her process. Although she hasn’t posted any snippets yet, she showed how she is in the studio with her team, recording and dancing.

On Instagram the 30-year-old shares a blurry photo that shows half of her face covered in red lipstick, announcing “Yes, And?” At the same time, she also supplies her followers directly with one Pre-save link and reveals that the track will be released on January 12th. There is no song excerpt yet.
