Drs. ACC (Christiaan) Rebergen becomes Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect in the summer of 2024.
Christiaan Rebergen has been Treasurer General at the Ministry of Finance since June 2018. Previously, he was Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Director General of International Cooperation and the position of Ambassador for Public Private Partnerships and Millennium Development Goals at the same ministry. Christiaan Rebergen studied Economics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
