Mr. H. (Hans) Docter becomes Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister Uitermark of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect in mid-August 2025.
Hans Docter has been Co-CEO ad interim since July 2024 Invest International. He previously held various positions for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was, among other things, director of Sustainable Economic Development and ambassador in Israel and Ghana. Hans Docter studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
