The accident happened around one o’clock this afternoon in the Brugsesteenweg on the intersection with Hugo Verrieststraat. That is a school zone, where zone 30 applies. The 15 -year -old girl crossed the road there on the pedestrian crossing, but the driver of a car saw that too late and grabbed her. The girl was dragged a few tens of meters.
