Drs. YFW (Yolanda) Hoogtanders will be the new mayor of the municipality of Roermond. At the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has decided to nominate her for appointment. The appointment will take effect on September 20, 2023.

Mrs. Hoogtanders (51 years old) is a member of the VVD and she is currently director/owner of Policy Productions.
Onno Hoes (VVD) is currently acting mayor of the municipality of Roermond.
