Arkas Spor and Galatasaray HDI Sigorta shared their trump cards in the AXA Sigorta Cup Volley Final. The fight ended with Arkas Spor’s 3-2 advantage. The yellow-red people announced that all necessary legal actions will be taken before the Turkish Volleyball Federation on the grounds that there was a rule mistake in the match.
The statement from Galatasaray is as follows:
Today, our Galatasaray HDI Sigorta Men’s Volleyball Team played with Arkas Spor in the first set of the AXA Sigorta Cup Volleyball Final, while we were leading 19-17, and the score that should have been 19-18 was reflected as 19-19 on the board.
Despite the immediate objection of our technical team and statistics coach and our manager warning the observer of the match at the end of the 2nd set, the referees of the match did not accept our objection and argued that the score was correct.
We, as Galatasaray Sports Club, would like to state that we will take all necessary legal actions against the referees and observers of the match at the Turkish Volleyball Federation from now on, with the current footage we have.
