Anti-Semitic attack in Ringbahn – wanted!

Brutal attack in the Ringbahn! Two men are said to have hit and injured a 33-year-old man. The background: anti-Semitism! The police are now publicly looking for the two men.

According to the police, the attack took place on September 13, 2022 at around 2:50 p.m. on the S41 ring road between the Jungfernheide and Wedding stations. According to initial information, the 33-year-old boarded the S-Bahn at the Jungfernheide stop. Shortly thereafter, he was initially insulted anti-Semitically by one of the wanted men. When he resisted, the stranger grabbed his arm.

When trying to push his attacker away, a second man came along. Both then beat their victim, injuring his head several times, the police said on Thursday.

When another passenger intervened, the 33-year-old got off at Wedding station while the duo continued their journey.

This is how the suspects are described

Suspect 1:

► about 20 to 30 years old
► about 1.70 m to 1.75 m tall
► Short, black hair and a full black beard
► Dressed in a dark blue T-shirt with the inscription “CALIFORNIA”, blue-grey work trousers, work boots

► about 18 to 20 years old
► Approximately 1.65m to 1.70m tall
► Blonde hair about 10 cm long
► wore a “hip hop style” necklace
► dressed in black sweatpants

The investigators of the criminal police ask: Who can provide information on the identity and/or the whereabouts of the wanted persons? Who saw the suspects before, during or after the crime? Who can provide further, relevant information about the crime or the wanted person?
