The motto of this kind of re-run of the famous Love Parade is: “Music is the Answer”. The parade should therefore be a demonstration for the preservation of electronic music culture and peace in the world. When selecting the 25 music trucks, the “electronic music culture in the greatest possible variety” should be shown.

On July 9, 2022, around 200,000 people and 18 loudspeaker vans with music moved from the Kudamm to the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column. All day long, the parade fought its way peacefully through dense, dancing crowds.

In the end, the Straße des 17. Juni was so crowded that the police spoke of “dangerous situations” and the party ended.

dr Motte first crossed the Kudamm in 1989 with a few fellow campaigners and a music truck under the motto “Peace, Joy, Pancakes”. Later, the Berlin Love Parade developed into a magnet for many hundreds of thousands of people. Then the founder gave up the brand. In 2010, the completely overcrowded Love Parade organized by other organizers in Duisburg ended in panic-stricken crowds with 21 dead.
