If you remember the hit movie of yesteryears The Devil Wears Pradamaybe an actor Anne Hathaway and editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour recent group photos evoke tantalizing associations.
Hathaway and Wintour sat next to each other at New York Fashion Week Michael Kors in the show. The joint photo published on Twitter has gone viral. Many still remember how Hathaway acted The Devil Wears Prada Andrea “Andy” Sachs in the movie.
Andrea dreamed of a career as a journalist and ended up as an assistant at a fashion magazine run by the feared and adored Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). Miranda’s character is believed to be based on Winotur. The recent joint photo of Hathaway and Wintour thus symbolizes for many the meeting of real life and cinema.
To top it all off, Hathaway’s choice of outfit and hairstyle are confusingly reminiscent of Andrea’s style in the film. Many dug up pictures and clips from that scene and compared them to Hathaway’s current style on Twitter:

American writer by Lauren Weisberger based on the novel of the same name The Devil Wears Prada was a huge hit in cinemas in 2006. For Hathaway, the film was a step towards more mature roles The Princess Diaries-after the teenage sensation.
Hathaway revealed last year that she was by no means the first choice for the lead role in the film.
