Manchester City has to do without Haaland for the time being. The 24 -year -old striker and most valuable footballer in the world suffered an injury to the left ankle in the cup game at the AFC Bournemouth (2-1). The club announced this, but made no precise information about the downtime.
Haaland was examined on Monday and will determine the full extent of the injury from a specialist. It is expected that he will intervene again this season and will also take part in the club World Cup in summer.
Haaland is the best scorer of the Skyblues with 30 goals and six templates in 40 games. In the Premier League alone, he comes to 21 hits and thus took second place in the scorer list. Ex-Frankfurt Omar Marmoush was substituted in the cup game as a replacement for Haaland and hit victory in the 63rd minute. Haaland had achieved the interim compensation (49th).
