Angus Cloud’s death casts shadow over Euphoria shoot: ‘So shocking’

Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has opened up about his actor friend by Angus Cloud of death In an interview with Galmour magazine.

Cloud died suddenly in July of a drug overdose. He was 25 years old when he died.

Sweeney says that the entire cast of the Euphoria series was shocked by Cloud’s sudden passing.

– We constantly called each other and cried together, 26-year-old Sweeney said.

– [Cloudin kuolema] was just so shocking, she added.

The filming of the third season of the Euphoria series will begin early next year. Sweeney expects sadness and longing to hit properly when the actors of the series meet on the set.

– I don’t think Angus’s death will really feel real until we start shooting, and I won’t see Angus on set, Sweeney said.

– When we shoot, [––] we are present with each other in a different way than when we are all in different places in the world.

“With a heavy heart”

Sweeney and Cloud co-starred in the first and second seasons of the hit HBO series. In the series, Sweeney plays Cassie Howard, a popular girl who struggles to survive in the midst of her messy relationships.

Cloud, on the other hand, played the sensitive drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill.

Cloud’s family confirmed the actor died at his home in Oakland, California on July 31. Cloud’s cause of death was found to be an acute poisoning caused by an unintentional drug overdose.

– It was with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible person today, the actor’s family said in a statement shortly after Cloud’s death.

– Angus was special to us in many ways, both as an artist, friend, brother and son, the family added.

Cloud had lost his father shortly before his death. According to the family, Cloud struggled with mental health issues.

– Angus spoke openly about his struggle with his mental health. We hope his death can serve as a reminder that no one is alone and no one should struggle alone in silence, the family said.
