“After the summer, the Wetstraat will turn definitively towards elections and the policy window will close. It is possible that it will not reopen until 2025 with a new government,” writes political scientist Carl Devos. “Regardless of how strong the radical parties become, it cannot be ruled out that the fundamental choice at the federal level will then remain the same as in 2019: with or without N-VA?
