A shocking incident was seen at the Royal Ascot galloping races on Wednesday, when a horse kicked an employee involved in the organization of the race in the head, news The Telegraph. The employee was rushed to the hospital, where he has been treated since the incident.
The man, who was an employee, lost consciousness as a result of the kick. However, according to the Telegraph’s sources, the man is expected to fully recover from his injuries.
Most of the audience watching the games did not see the accident, but the eyewitnesses feared for the man’s life.
An eyewitness interviewed by the Telegraph says that a serum was applied around the man while paramedics tried to revive him.
The kick happened while the horse was walking around the warm-up ring. The 2-year-old horse had kicked the representative with its hind legs. A man hired through the personnel service was guarding the staircase leading to the coaches’ restaurant at the time of the accident.
There were also royals when, among other things, king charles was watching the games. However, according to the Telegraph, members of the royal family did not see the accident.
