‘Noord Belloord’ is an old nickname for Amsterdam-Noord and was often mockingly used by Amsterdammers of the ‘other side’. But this district is no longer the part of the city on the ‘wrong’ side of the IJ. In the early 2000s, the first creative pioneers moved over the capital ‘Binnenzee’ and the district breathed new life into the district. Now it is a popular place where there is much to discover.
