Ski star announces wedding date

In terms of sport, things are going very well for Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen at the moment. There is also a big private event coming up this year, as he revealed.
At the beginning of last year, Norwegian ski star Henrik Kristoffersen asked his girlfriend Tonje Barkenes to marry him. The couple has been engaged ever since. The 30-year-old wrote on Instagram at the time: “The love of my life said yes! The best friend and mother of our child will be the best woman I can imagine! I love you, my love.” After the slalom in Adelboden, in which the Norwegian came third, Kristoffersen revealed when the big day would be.
When he was on the podium, the ORF asked him if he wanted to dance for the fans. The ski star said clearly: “No.” However, he added: “Maybe I’ll dance at my wedding in the summer.” The current wearer of the red jersey for the leader in the Salom also revealed that the wedding ceremony will follow around a year and a half after the engagement to Barkenes.
Kristoffersen and Barkenes are already parents. Their son Emil Henrik Kristoffersen was born on July 14, 2023. Since then, Barkenes has repeatedly given small insights into family life on her Instagram profile. At Christmas, Kristoffersen also posted a photo of himself dressed as Santa Claus with his son on his lap. The ski star and his wife have been living in Salzburg, Austria, for several years.
In terms of sport, Kristoffersen is currently in good shape. However, he admitted after the slalom in Adelboden on Saturday that it was “extremely tiring” to “race, be nervous, pull yourself together and perform all the time.”
