The downhill World Cup for alpine skiers that was canceled in Beaver Creek (USA) is to be made up for on December 15 in Val Gardena (Italy).

This was announced by the International Ski Federation FIS on Monday (December 5th, 2022). The race was canceled on the original date last Friday due to strong winds and persistent snowfall.

At the World Cup station in the Dolomites (December 13th to 17th) there is also a Super G and another descent on the program. This means that the speed riders on the Saslong have three opportunities to collect World Cup points.

While the men complete their first run in the giant slalom, the women race down the slope in the Super-G. From 2.10 p.m. the biathlon women start in the mass start.

At the end of the alpine weekend in Lake Louise, the Super-G was on the program on Sunday – the complete broadcast in re-live.
